Heute hat ja The CW seine Upfront-Präsentation abgehalten. Dabei kam das Thema auch auf "The Tomorrow People" und weshalb "Beauty and the Beast" den Vorzug einer Bestellung bei viel schlechteren Quoten erhalten hat (Mark Pedowitz ist der Senderchef von The CW):

One reporter wondered why Pedowitz had renewed Beauty and the Beast but not Tomorrow People, which did better numbers. Pedowitz reminded the reporter he’s always said CW was a “very different type of broadcaster” and ratings aren’t everything. Beauty and the Beast has “great upside potential for our audience.” It’s a great business model in that the series works in the international marketplace as well as digitally, etc. Tomorrow People was a “really, really good show” but “just didn’t have the same level of social engagement or digital that Beauty and the Beast had,” he said.

Mal ehrlich.... die Namen sind doch echt mies.... ULTRA.... Tomorrow People.... so nennt sich doch niemand.

Hab nun die ersten beiden Folgen gesehen und weiß nicht ob ich weiter schauen werde. Die Serie hat mich weder gefesselt, nicht in ihren Bann gezogen und nicht ma neugierig gemacht hat sie mich.

Ab der hälfte wirds besser. So wie bei jeder theCW serie.

Tomorrow People nennen sie sich weil die ursprüngliche Serie auch so hieß und das eine Neuauflage dazu war.
