Sega-Klassiker Shinobi soll ins Kino

Mal wieder eine Adaption eines bekannten Videospiels, diesmal aus dem Klassiker-Regal. Im klassischen Side-Scroller Jump 'n' Run "Shinobi" durfte man als Spieler in die Pixel-Haut eines Ninjas schlüpfen, und mit Schwert und Wurfsternen alles Platt machen, was da von der rechten Seite des Bildschirmes auf einen zukam. "2 Guns" und "Bridge of Spies"-Produzent Marc Platt steckt dahinter, und soll für SEGA Group und Hakuhodo DY Group was draus machen.

Platt: “We love the Shinobi games and believe that the world of ninjas has never been properly explored onscreen,” ... “We now have the opportunity to do just that. With Shinobi, we hope to make a film that honors the essence of the games and brings this fascinating world to life for moviegoing audiences.”
