Der Debüt-Film von Rose Glass heimste dieses Jahr auf dem Festival in Toronto schon grandiose Kritiken ein (z.b. von David Ehrlich von IndieWire) und wird als eine Art Mischung aus THE EXORCIST, CARRIE und UNDER THE SKIN beschrieben.

Morfydd Clark spielt darin die junge Krankenschwester Maud, die sich hingebungsvoll um ihre Patienten kümmert. Doch sie steigert sich in die Rettung der Seelen der sterbenden Patienten soweit rein, dass es zu einer Art religiöser Wahn wird.

Startet im März 2020 in den USA, hierzulande fehlt noch ein Termin.
