Apple says the adaption is “about a self-hacking security android who is horrified by human emotion yet drawn to its vulnerable ‘clients.’” In the show, “Murderbot must hide its free will and complete a dangerous assignment when all it really wants is to be left alone to watch futuristic soap operas and figure out its place in the universe.”

Die Bücher stehen schon länger auf meiner Liste, bin bislang nur noch nicht dazu gekommen, auch nur eines davon durchzulesen. Sollen wohl sehr gut sein. Apple hat mit seinen Serien-Produktionen im SciFi-Bereich auf jeden Fall schon einmal einen Vertrauensvorschuss.
