Hört sich eigentlich ganz interessant an, aber daß die Menschen von den so genannten "Alien Göttern" geschaffen worden sein sollen kommt mir etwas weit her geholt vor! :gruebel:

Egal wer uns gemacht hat ich will den Film und da muss nix Logisch sein und ob es dann am ende so alles im Film ist is ja die andere Frage :-D

i me the guy who wrote the detailed outline.
It was written just for me, trying to make sense of what we know so far of the movie.
I posted it on my facebook wall (sorry can't give a link to it as it could bring some bad publicity as i'm working as an artist, in an non english speaking country, and it might scare potential clients) somebody took it and sent it to IO9 and a few other Movie News site.
i'm working on finding who since my wall is locked to friends only.
Major part of my text were deleted, especially the title "Ridley Scott's PROMETHEUS my detailed possible outline" and my take on the ending.
i didn't come clean before because, i tought it would be debunked very fast by offcial and also because i was kinda scared of how it spread so fast over the web. I was also scared that i might be right and spoiled the actual movie story.
I do like what i wrote and hope that the movie will be as epic, but more twisted, less easy than my take.
I know that it created buzz for the movie, people want to know more, wich could be good for Ridley and his crew.
Hope i have not upset too many people.

@Charger: Wie glaubhaft ist die Quelle? Ich meine, jeder x-beliebige Mensch kann sowas verfassen und dann behaupten, er wäre der Typ, der die Story in den Umlauf gebracht hat.

Sollte die oben genannte Story tatsächlich dem kommenden Film entsprechen, dann würde ich es mit gemischten Gefühlen sehen :
Pro :
- Elemente zu zeigen, die später in Alien vorkommen wäre toll (SJ Raumschiff, wie es dahin kam und so).
- Aliens als genetisches Experiment irgendeiner Rasse die gentechnisch dazu in der Lage ist Lebewesen zu erschaffen finde ich auch gut.
- Extraterristischer Kontakt und das Ausnutzen des Vertrauens seitens der Menschen ist auch eine gute Idee, wenn auch etwas klischeehaft (und an Avatar erinnernd).
- tolle Bilder könnten auf uns warten...
- tolle Aliens könnten uns erwarten...
Contra :
- Weyland Industires schickt 2058 ein Schiff los - das ist lange unterwegs (trotz Lichtgeschwindigkeit) und sie hören entweder nix mehr von ihnen oder sie erhalten interessante Informationen (via Lichtgeschwindigkeit).
Trotzdem finde ich es seltsam dass Sie nicht weitere Schiffe offiziel nachgeschickt haben, und stattdessen die Nostromo von Ihrer Mission (Rückkehr zur Erde) ablenken. Könnte das noch weiter ausmalen würde aber zu sehr spoilern... Ok es könnte sein dass alles als Fehlschlag galt, und man nun unerwartet ein Lebenszeichen (Signal) aus der Region fand, und daher die Nostromo einsetzte (was ja auch offiziell in Alien 1 der Crew ansatzweise mitgeteilt wurde).
- Die Spacejockeys als Schöpfer der Menschen ? Warum sehen wir Ihnen dann nicht ähnlicher ? Die Evolution als Erklärung für unser Aussehen zu benutzen fällt mir leichter, als die Vorstellung dass uns jemand so geschaffen hat (das ist wieder so eine typische "der Mensch ist was besonderes" Einstellung, wir können uns nicht einfach so entwickelt haben wie der Rest der Lebewesen auf der Erde - nein wir müssen eine besondere Herkunft haben). Ok man könnte ja sagen sie haben nur den Keim des Lebens beim Terraforming gepflanzt und wussten nicht was dabei herauskommt. Das würde ich mir noch gefallen lassen.
- Die Aliens als Aufräumkreaturen für einen Planeten ? Und wer befreit den Planeten dann von den Aliens ? Naja da gibt es bestimmt wieder eine eingebaute Sicherung, dass die Viecher irgendwann sterben... aber es reichte wenn man auf einem Planeten Terraforming betreibt - da würde auch alles auf Null gesetzt werden. Irgendwie wirkt das konstruiert.
- es wird versucht alles zu erklären. Das gefällt mir nicht. Ein paar offene Fragen sollte man einfach lassen - das würde den Film qualitativ aufwerten.
Naja - ich gehe davon aus, dass es nicht wirklich die Grundlage des Filmes ist - würde mir jedenfalls besser gefallen als die ersten Entwürfe. Nur Details sollten anders sein.

Die Produktion wurde jetzt nach Island verlagert. Dort wird man u.a. am berühmten Dettifoss Wasserfall drehen. Charlize Theron, Michael Fassbender und Noomi Rapace sind ebenfalls vor Ort.

The Prometheus film crew are currently in Iceland filming a sequence which takes place at the beginning of the movie and is supposed to be of earth at the beginning of time, according to reports earlier this week.
One of the photos leaked on TwitPic today shows part of a prop which resembles the outside of the derelict ship seen in Alien. We've been guessing for a while that the Space Jockeys would be involved in these scenes, so it doesn't really come as a surprise.
However, in another photo from this set we see something that appears to be the damaged remains of a human spaceship.
So either these scenes do take place at the time of the birth of planet Earth, in which case the humans have somehow slipped back in time, or these scenes actually show the birth of a different planet altogether.
My wild guess is that the humans in these scenes may not necessarily be humans from our time... or our planet even...
