Nein - keine offizielle Filmankündigung oder dergleichen, aber es sei mal als mögliches "Vielleicht" genannt.
Und zwar wurde kürzlich jemand von Bethesda gefragt, ob man sich Gameverfilmungen zu Quake, Wolfenstein, Fallout, Dishonored, Elder Scrolls und anderen Bethesda Reihen vorstellen könnte. Die Antwort? Eigentlich ein konsequentes Nein, weil man sich von keinem Filmstudio reinreden lassen will. Ausnahme wäre allerdings ein Regisseur vom Formate eines Peter Jackson - dem würde man dann schon mal zuhören.

Die 12teilige Spielereihe wäre sicherlich was für Jacksons Talente, aber ob der nach 6 Mittelerde Filmen nochmal Lust auf ein ähnliches Epos hätte? Unwahrscheinlich. Eher dreht der noch eine Tolkien Trilogie.
